Mashal of the Assembly in Pergamus:

משל של הקהלת בפרגמוס

אל מלאך קהלת פרגמוס כתב: את אלה הדברים אומר זה אשר לו חרב הפיפיות החדה:  פ

To the Messenger of the Pergamus community write: These words are said by the one with the sharp double-edged sword (חרב הפיפיות החדה):

אני יודע את מקום שבתך, אשר שם כסא השטן. אתה מחזיק בשמי ולא התכחשת לאמונתי אפלו בימי אנטיפס עדי הנאמן אשר נהרג אצלכם במקום מושבו של השטן, אך יש לי נגדך דברים מעטים: יש לך שם אנשים המחזיקים בתורת בלעם אשר למד את בלק לשים מכשול לפני בני ישראל כדי שיאכלו מזבחי אלילים ויזנו. כן גם נמצאים אצלך אנשים המחזיקים בתורת הניקולסים באפן דומה. לכן חזר בתשובה; שאם לא כן, אבוא אליך מהר ואלחם בהם בחרב פי.  פ

I know where you dwell (מקום שבתך), where the Throne of Satan (כסא השטן) is. You keep (מחזיק בשמי-hold fast) My name and you did not deny My faith in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness (עדי הנאמן) who was killed among you at the Seat of Satan (מושבו של השטן). But I have against you a few things: You have people there who hold the doctrine of Balaam (תורת בלעם), who taught Balak to put an obstacle (מכשול-of enticement) before the children of Israel to eat the sacrifices of idols and to prostitute themselves. You also have people who hold to the teachings of the Nicolaites (בתורת הניקולסים) in a similar way. So repent; otherwise, I will come to you quickly and fight with them with the sword of My mouth (ואלחם בהם בחרב פי).

מי שאזן לו, ישמע נא מה שהרוח אומרת לקהלות. המנצח, אני אתן לו מן המן הגנוז, ואתן לו אבן לבנה ועל האבן כתוב שם חדש אשר לא ידענו איש זולתי המקבל.  פ

Whoever listens (מי שאזן לו-has an ear to hear) will hear, understand, and obey (שמע-shama) what the Spirit says to the assemblies. The victor, I will give him from the hidden manna (המן הגנוז), and I will give him a white stone (אבן לבנה), and on the stone a new name (שם חדש) is written, which no one else knows but the person who receives it.
