Yeshua Ha-Mashiach Affirms He is the Messiah on Shemini Atzeret:

The Salvation of Adonai – Yeshua, heard that they had pushed him outside, and he encountered him. He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” He answered and said, “Who is he, my master? I will believe in him.” Yeshua said to him, “You have seen him; he is the one who is speaking to you.” He said, “I believe, my master!” And he bowed down to him. Yeshua said, “I have come to this world to execute justice so that those who are blind will see, and those who see will become blind.” Those who were with him from the Prushim heard his words and said to him, “Are we also blind?” He said to him, “If you were blind, sin would not be in you. But now that you have said, ‘We are opened-eyed’ your sin stands.”

After hearing about how the healed man was abused by the religious leaders the Messiah found him. The Salvation of Adonai asked the brave man who stood up to the Prushim rabbinate, Do you believe in ben ha’Adam?”This was a call to commitment. Ben Ha’adam is a well known title of the Messiah which includes a rich background (cf. Daniel 7:13). The man answered, “Who is He, Sir, that I may believe in him?” The Messiah answered him, You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you.” The beggar responded that he was willing to believe but he was ignorant. The Messiah then disclosed himself and gave the beggar the necessary knowledge for faith.

Faith involves an act of the will, based on truth that is revealed to us by the Spirit of the Holy One. After the Messiah revealed that He was the Son of Man, the man responded in faith, “Lord I believe.” The man then worshiped the Spirit of the Holy One that He knew by faith was resident in the Messiah. The Spirit of Adonai (the LORD) had revealed to this humble, courageous man that the worship of the ben ha’Adam (Son of Man), ben Elyon (Son of the Highest), had replaced the man’s worship at the synagogue. The leaders of the Yehudim had cast the blind man who could now see out of their synagogue, but the Savior of all Men (HaMoshia l’chol Adam) does not cast out those who come to Him. However, the Messiah did judge the Prushim for their not responding affirmatively to the Word of the Spirit of Adonai. And Ha-Mashiach Yeshua said:

For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind.

For judgment Messiah came into this world:

The Messiah Yeshua, was not sent to condemn the world. But here the Tzaddik said, “for judgment I have come into this world.” Although the Savior of all Men primarily came into the world not to condemn but to save the insistence of the (self-worshiping) rabbis claiming to be good while practicing evil could not be ignored There is no hope for those who refuse the help of the Messiah who HaShem sent into the world. If help is offered by the Spirit of Holiness, Who is the Voice of Messiah, and we reject His Help, then no other remedy is possible for us. In such a case, where we reject the salvation offered by the Evangelist of Us All, the call of the Holy Spirit, then the Servant of the Holy One will be given no alternative but to pronounce judgment upon us for this ungodly act.

We are all born into this world in a state of spiritual blindness. The blind can only come to sight when we admit our own inability and helplessness. In our state of spiritual and mortal imperfection we are helpless and hopeless without the saving assistance that Adonai provides us through His Spirit of Truth (the real Oral Law) and His Written Word.

Messiah is the Voice of Adonai (the LORD). If you hear the Messiah, you are listening to the Voice of Adonai.

When Ha-Mashiach speaks we are not hearing the voice of a mortal man but of our Heavenly Father Himself (Avinu Shebashamayim). We must trust the Salvation of Adonai (Yeshua) for our salvation. Those who can see with their natural eyes but cannot see with their spiritual eyes are those who self-trust. Their self-pride blinds them to the wonders of Adonai, as the invisible One personally reveals Himself through His only Begotten Son (ben Yachid), the visible Messiah. The Holy One does not condemn us by making us blind. We choose to become blind when we reject the Light that He has freely given us. When we reject the Light the Spirit brings to us we give ourselves back over to the darkness that the evil one provides. We see the disavowal of the Light in the lofty, prideful, self-righteous words of the religious leaders:

Those of the Prushim who were with him heard these things and said to him, “We are not blind too, are we?” The Salvation of Adonai – Yeshua, said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now since you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.”

He gives grace to the humble but opposes the proud:

The self-assured rabbis expected a negative answer to their question–-“We are not blind too, are we?—because they assumed that due to their advanced training in Judaism that they alone possessed spiritual perception. So the Messiah replied to the elite religious leaders: “If you were humble enough to admit that you were blind to spiritual things, you might have claimed ignorance as a valid defense. However, your proud insistence that you are righteous (that you ‘see’), even in the face of your exceedingly poor spiritual and moral leadership, makes your sin remain. You are responsible for your sins because you sinned willfully.” The sin of pride in one’s heart constantly deceives people, especially those who possess the highest intelligence, the greatest talents and the most privileged training. For this reason it is a true saying:

It is the best and brightest among us who live in the greatest danger of living in a web of ever growing, perpetual self-deceit.

We have good news for you geniuses and bad news: the good news is you are a genius; the bad news is you can invent rationalizations that are so inventive and so brilliant that no one will be able to ever even detect what you have done. Not even you! Therefore, it is most dangerous to be a brilliant talented rabbi, scientist, medical professional, engineer or inventor who puts his trust in himself instead of the Messiah, the Wisdom of God (Chokhmat Elohim).
