The Womb of Heaven was Barren:

וַתְּהִי שָׂרַי עֲקָרָה אֵין לָהּ וָלָֽד׃

Sarai was barren; she had no child.

“Sarai was barren.” This unfortunate previous condition of the womb of Sarai (later renamed Sarah), who is the mother of us all, prophetically symbolizes what the spiritual circumstance of heaven, the Jerusalem above (יְרוּשָׁלַיִם שֶׁל מַעְלָה) used to be:

Before the appearance of Messiah Ben Yosef the womb of Heaven was barren!

Due to Adam’s ingesting the *evil inclination (יֵצֶר הַרַע‎‎-yetzer ha-ra), at the eating of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil (when Abba Avinu ordered him not to eat of it), heaven was left without any human occupants at all.

*Believe it or not the successors of the Prushim rabbis and of the Tannaim sages teach (according to their highly defective man-made traditions) that God created the evil impulse. This is absurd. Nothing could be farther from the truth (cf. “Messiah in Sukkot“). Adonai is good. His eyes are too pure (טְהוֹר) to even behold wickedness. He absolutely is not the author of evil. He is the author of our salvation. There is no deceit in our heavenly Father, only truth. It is impossible for the Holy One to lie (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). However, in great contrast to the Spirit of Adonai, who is the Ruach Ha-Emet, the Spirit of Truth (רוּחַ הָאֱמֶת), the evil one is the spirit of lies; he is a liar all of the time. He is the father (originator) of “the lie” (השקר) and all other “lies” (שקרים). The wicked one is the originator of all of our human knowledge (experience) of evil (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). If Adam (אִישׁ-אִשָּׁה) had never unknowingly been deceived and transgressed (אִשָּׁה) the word of God and then knowingly disobeyed (אִישׁ) the Torah of Elohim Avinu then none of us would have ever experienced spiritual separation from God or physical death.

This is why Avinu Shebashamayim sent us the Messiah. The Messiah came into the world to completely remove evil from our human physical and conscious existence. The Messiah came to cleanse us of our sins and give us the gift of eternal life. He also came to us (Israel-the Rule of God) to permanently end the reign of the evil one by bringing judgment upon him. Until Messiah came none of the souls of the righteous were able (upon death) to enter into heaven. The souls of the righteous remained in a holding area in Sheol, in a protected place called Abraham’s Bosom (חֵיק אַבְרָהָם).  After Messiah’s sacrifice for the atonement of sin and before His resurrection He descended into the lower regions of Sheol to lead (exodus) those made righteous by faith in Adonai (from Adam on) instantly out of Sheol and into the (near future) Golden Age of Israel. [For the rest of the story as to where and at what time in the near future these spirits of the Tzaddikim (righteous ones) of old were sent read the rest of chapter 10 below and the next chapter (chapter 11).] The reproachful circumstance of the barrenness of heaven (that Messiah put an end to) was due to the crafty fallen angel Satan ‘mixing’ (adding 1, 2, 3, 4, & subtracting 5, 6) his parasitical false teaching into the good Torah of the Holy One and beguiling Adam ben Ha-Elohim to ingest this deadly mixture into his living soul. This seduction by the evil one and the act of Adam ingesting the knowledge of evil (mixed-in with the knowledge of good) into his living soul resulted in the human race being infected with the twin infectious realities of sin and death. Therefore, until the appearance, atoning death, life-giving resurrection, and triumphant ascension of Messiah into heaven, the Jerusalem Above (the spiritual mother of us all) remained “barren.”

The removal of the Evil-Impulse:

Circumcision is the Almighty One’s sign that He has promised to give us a sacrifice that will permanently remove the evil impulse. The evil impulse (yetzer ha-ra) is the sin nature that the rabbis believe is the cause of fallen humanity’s evil inclination to sin. Due to the fall of Adam the prophet Isaiah tells us the womb of heaven was made barren (cf. Isaiah 54:1):

רָנִּי עֲקָרָה לֹא יָלָדָה פִּצְחִי רִנָּה וְצַהֲלִי לֹא־חָלָה כִּֽי־רַבִּים בְּֽנֵי־שֹׁומֵמָה מִבְּנֵי בְעוּלָה אָמַר ה’׃

“Shout for joy, O barren one [the fertility of Zion, heaven, the Jerusalem above], you who have borne no child; break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed; for the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous [born physically and from above] than the sons of the married woman,” [born only in the physical way, not from above] says the LORD.”

Shout for joy! For then He [Adonai] shall make the barren one [the womb of Zion, the Jerusalem above, heaven] bring (forth) “an abundance of sons to glory!”

Amen, amen, I say to you, unless one is born from above he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Amen, amen, I say to you, unless one is born of water (amniotic fluid, natural physical process) and the Spirit (life above, life of heaven) he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Due to sin no one among the human race had been able to enter heaven until the sacrifice of the Messiah our Redeemer cleansed our people of our sins and in His resurrection made it possible for our righteous dead to be Indwelt with the Spirit of the Holy One; thereby enabling the spirits of these righteous ones to be made perfect by immediately transporting them to the time and place appointed for their resurrection (cf. further explanation below). For this reason prior to the time of Messiah’s atoning sacrifice even the righteous spirits of our fathers and prophets were temporarily held captive in Sheol (שְׁאוֹל). In Sheol the righteous ones dwelt in the Bosom of father Abraham until the day of their exodus out of Sheol. After Messiah atoned for sin He descended into Sheol and took “captivity captive.” Messiah took all of the believing Jews and Gentiles who died in faith (prior to His resurrection) out of Sheol and brought them into the very Presence of Adonai Elohim (cf. Psalm 68):

You have ascended on high, You have led captive Your captives; you have received gifts among men, even among the rebellious also, that Adonai Elohim may dwell there. Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the Almighty who is our Salvation (Yeshua-teinu). Selah. The Almighty is to us a Mighty One of deliverances (HaPalat); and to Adonai (ה’) Adonai (אֲדֹנָי) belong escapes from death.

Now  this prophetic expression, “He is our Yeshua(h)” what does it mean? (סֶֽלָה-selah) Pause and really think about this passage. Ask yourself, “What does this prophecy mean?” It means Yeshuateinu (יְֽשׁוּעָתֵנוּ), Yeshua (יֵשׁוּעַ) our Messiah is prophetically in view here. It means that in this passage we can see that through our faith in M’shiach Adonai we are actually able to Escape from Death (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). Through Yeshua our Messiah death no longer can maintain its hold over us. Seriously think about it. If the Messiah ascended into heaven taking with Him the captives (our righteous dead) who were captive in Sheol then we also know, by the reasoning of faith, this means the Messiah also had descended into the lower parts of the earth. The Messiah (Yeshua Ha-Mashiach Adoneinu), therefore, is the Servant of the Holy One who first descended into the lower regions of the earth so that He might, thereafter, triumphantly ascend far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things. In this way, Messiah became the First born of the dead (Habekhor hakam min-hametim). Therefore, Heaven is no longer barren.

For in our Messiah’s resurrection from the dead and ascent to the highest of the heavens He has made a way for the spirits of our righteous dead to be resurrected from mortality into immortality; from corruption into incorruption; from the natural to the spiritual (1, 2, 3, 4). Therefore, what do we learn from this examination of our Hebrew scriptures? We learn that due to the redemptive ministry of the Holy One those righteous ones who (in former times) were held captive in the Paradise of Sheol (חֵיק אַבְרָהָם-Abraham’s Bosom) have now been released to be resurrected in the near future (in glorified bodies) at the beginning of the messianic kingdom.

What does this mean regarding those who have lived in the time that has followed after Messiah’s atoning sacrifice?

This means that the Holy Spirit for almost two thousand years now has been busy at work filling the world with His Presence and communicating His Besorah of the Grace of Adonai to all the peoples and nations of the world; as He will continue to do both now and in the messianic age to come. This means that when the righteous die they no longer go to Sheol, they immediately go to the appointed time and place of their resurrection. This instantaneous movement of our spirits and souls from this time and place to new immortal resurrected bodies in another time and place is not a difficult task for the Creator.

Time is no barrier to the Creator:

Time and space are no barrier for Avinu Shebashamayim (our heavenly Father). Therefore, I believe that the spirits and souls of the righteous ones who died from the time of Adam up to the moment of Messiah’s resurrection were all led out of Sheol and like the exodus in Egypt they were instantly led into the promised land of the future Messianic Kingdom. Theses righteous ones who had lost their mortal physical forms at death were instantly transported into their new immortal bodies in the time of the return of Messiah to Israel (Yom Kippur). Therefore, Adonai enabled these persons to time-travel to the appointed time and place of their resurrection, on the day of some unknown (yet future) observance of Yom Kippur. Regarding this crossing of the space-time barrier, read the far-reaching, multiple-fulfilling prophecy of Joshua 3:16; 4:22-24:

The waters which were flowing (lit. going) down from above stood and rose up in one heap, a great distance away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan (צרתן-the Trouble); and those which were flowing (going) down toward the sea of the Arabah (עֲרָבָה-wilderness), the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. So the people crossed opposite Jericho (יְרֵחוֹ-the moon, the light that rules מֶמְשָׁלָה -the night).

Then you shall inform your children, saying, “Israel crossed this Jordan (יַרְדֵּן-descend, the waters that come down from חֶרְמוֹן, חָרַם – complete destruction ) on dry ground. For Adonai Eloheikhem dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed, just as the Adonai Elohikhem had done to the Sea of Reeds (יַם־סוּף-Yam Suf), which He dried up before us until we had crossed; that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of Adonai is Mighty (חֲזָקָה), so that you may fear (יְרָאתֶם-stand in awe, reverence, honor respect) Adonai Eloheikhem forever (כָּל־הַיָּמִֽים-all the days).”

Time Travel:

For the ancient holy ones (kedoshim), those righteous Jews who lived prior to the time of Messiah’s resurrection, I believe this means their spirits (have already from their perspective) instantly (בן רגע וכהרף עין) time-traveled from where they once were (in the Bosom of Abraham) into the actual restored land of Israel (the messianic kingdom; the golden age of Israel) where they have been resurrected into glorified bodies. In that future day—where Israel’s resurrected saints (in time paradox) have already traveled into the blessed age of the messianic era—our righteous ancestors will enjoy their new role of functioning as glorified ambassadors, servants to their mortal Jewish descendants and as welcoming hosts to the God fearing gentiles who will regularly be visiting the Holy Land. As a result of these prophecies (1, 2, 3) we know the future tourism industry in Eretz Israel during the messianic era will exist on a very grand and global scale (cf. “Messiah in Sukkot“). Therefore, the wonderful reward of our righteous ancestors (fathers, prophets, etc.) will be that they will serve our Messiah in the Golden Age of Israel as resurrected, glorified, holy ones who will supremely enjoy living as servant-shepherd-leaders (הַגָּדוֹל בָּכֶם יִהְיֶה מְשָׁרֶתְכֶם) during the millennial age; the promised one thousand year international reign of the Kingdom of Adonai “over all of the nations, peoples, and families of the earth.”

The Exact Time of the holy ones’ arrival in Israel is unknown:

The imminent, soon-coming reign of the Messiah will begin at an unknown future time (year) of the heavenly Father’s choosing. We believe the arrival of these resurrected saints must occur on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). And it must happen on a future Yom Kippurim day that is designated in the heavenly Father’s calendar as a Festival of Jubilee (Hebrew, Yovel, the year at the end of seven cycles of shmita-שמיטה, sabbatical years). This future sacred day is when the glorified appearance of our resurrected Messiah will occur. He will miraculously appear simultaneously to all the nations and peoples of the world. Messiah’s second coming will happen on the day of Yom Kippur and the day of Jubilee. Then all Israel will be restored to the fulfillment of all the Promises of Adonai Avinu.

Space-Time paradoxes:

Evidence of the Great Exodus, the exodus of the living and the dead being led into the kingdom of Adonai by the Great Moses to come, the Coming One (Hu Haba’), does exist in the writings of the Brit Chadashah account of the resurrection of Ha-Mashiach. In the first Besorah of Messiah, in the Besorah of “Given of Adonai” (lit. meaning of the name Matthew), we discover that a small number of resurrected-glorified (Jewish) kedoshim (holy ones), who were participants in Messiah’s exodus from the Bosom of Abraham, were allowed to appear in a glorified resurrected form to many of the citizens of Jerusalem. These resurrected holy ones were glorified and therefore they were immortals. We further believe that the glorious appearance of these select resurrected Messianic Jews was very brief, for these special malakim (messengers) needed only to bear witness to Messiah’s redemption and resurrection power, then be on their way (time-travel) to arrive in the future Restored (Golden Age of) Israel in their new immortal bodies:

And Yeshua cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His Spirit. And behold, the Veil of the Temple was torn in two from Top to Bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were  opened; and many bodies of the holy ones (kedoshim) who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

After these glorified Hebrew saints departed Jerusalem (almost two-thousand years ago) they instantly time-traveled (in their heavenly bodies) into the future Restored Israel. I believe the arrival of these select messengers will occur in the near future (21st century) at the exact moment all of the other righteous Jews (from the ancient past) will arrive to undergo their own assigned resurrection and glorification (as a corporate body). This future resurrection of the Hebrew saints of old will occur on the ‘appointed’ future day of the Restoration of Israel. The saints (the spirits of the tzaddikim made perfect) of this first exodus will arrive in Israel on the holiest day of the Hebrew Year, on the day of Yom Kippur. This is the day of the glorious reappearance of Messiah Ben David, the Conquering Messiah. On that future (yet unknown) fast day Ha-Mashiach will return to earth from heaven riding upon the Shekinah Glory Cloud, escorted by His holy ones (angels and the resurrected holy ones, i.e glorified men, women, children).
