Lukas 22:50-53
וַיַּךְ אֶחָד מֵהֶם אֶת־עֶבֶד הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל וַיְקַצֵּץ אֶת־אָזְנוֹ הַיְמָנִית׃ וַיַּעַן יֵשׁוּעַ וַיֹּאמֶר רַב עַתָּה הַרְפּוּ וַיִּגַּע בְּאָזְנוֹ וַיִּרְפָּאֵהוּ׃ וַיֹּאמֶר יֵשׁוּעַ אֶל רָאשֵׁי הַכֹּהֲנִים וְשָׂרֵי הַמִּקְדָּשׁ וְהַזְּקֵנִים אֲשֶׁר בָּאוּ עָלָיו לֵאמֹר כְּצֵאת עַל־פָּרִיץ יְצָאתֶם עָלַי בַּחֲרָבוֹת וּבְמַקְלוֹת׃ וְאָנֹכִי הָיִיתִי עִמָּכֶם בַּמִּקְדָּשׁ יוֹם יוֹם וְלֹא־שְׁלַחְתֶּם יֶדְכֶם בִּי וְאוּלָם זֹאת שְׁעַתְכֶם וְזֶה שִׁלְטוֹן הַחשֶׁךְ׃
וְאֶחָד מֵהֶם הִכָּה וְקִצֵּץ אֶת אָזְנוֹ הַיְמָנִית שֶׁל עֶבֶד הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל. אַךְ יֵשׁוּעַ הֵשִׁיב: “הַרְפּוּ! עַד כָּאן!”, נָגַע בְּאָזְנוֹ וְרִפֵּא אוֹתוֹ. פָּנָה יֵשׁוּעַ אֶל רָאשֵׁי הַכֹּהֲנִים וּקְצִינֵי הַמִּקְדָּשׁ וְהַזְּקֵנִים אֲשֶׁר בָּאוּ עָלָיו, וְאָמַר: “כְּמוֹ עַל שׁוֹדֵד יְצָאתֶם בַּחֲרָבוֹת וּבְמַקְלוֹת! יוֹם יוֹם הָיִיתִי עִמָּכֶם בַּמִּקְדָּשׁ וְלֹא שְׁלַחְתֶּם בִּי יָד, אֶלָּא שֶׁזֹּאת שְׁעַתְכֶם וּשְׁעַת שִׁלְטוֹן הַחֹשֶׁךְ.” פ
One of them (a talmid of Yeshua) struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear. Yeshua responded and said (to his talmid), “Enough! No more!” He touched his ear and healed it. Yeshua spoke to the chief priests and temple officers and elders who came against him, saying, “You have come out against me like one comes out against a robber, with swords and clubs, even though I was with you in the Temple every day and you did not reach (out) your hands against me. But this hour and time of the power of darkness are yours.”
Yochanan 18:10-11
וּלְשִׁמְעוֹן פֶּטְרוֹס חֶרֶב וַיִּשְׁלְפָהּ וַיָּךְ אֶת־עֶבֶד הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל וַיְקַצֵּץ אֶת־אָזְנוֹ הַיְמָנִית וְשֵׁם הָעֶבֶד מַלְכוֹס׃ וַיֹּאמֶר יֵשׁוּעַ אֶל־פֶּטְרוֹס הָשֵׁב חַרְבְּךָ אֶל־נְדָנָהּ הֲלֹא־אֶשְׁתֶּה אֶת־הַכּוֹס אֲשֶׁר נָתַן־לִי אָבִי׃
אָז שָׁלַף שִׁמְעוֹן כֵּיפָא חֶרֶב שֶׁהָיְתָה אֶצְלוֹ, הִכָּה בְּעַבְדּוֹ שֶׁל הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל וְקִצֵּץ אֶת אָזְנוֹ הַיְמָנִית. שֵׁם הָעֶבֶד הָיָה מֶלֶךְ. אָמַר יֵשׁוּעַ אֶל כֵּיפָא: “הָשֵׁב אֶת הַחֶרֶב אֶל נְדָנָהּ. הַאִם לֹא אֶשְׁתֶּה אֶת הַכּוֹס שֶׁנָּתַן לִי הָאָב?” פ
Shim’on Keifa had a sword. He drew it and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear. The name of the servant was “King” (Melekh ,מֶלֶךְ; Malekos ,מַלְכוֹס). Yeshua said to Keifa. “Return your sword to its sheaf (scabbard). Will I not drink the cup that my Father has given me?”
