The Fact of Messiah’s Resurrection:
אַחַי אֲנִי מַזְכִּיר לָכֶם אֶת הַבְּשׂוֹרָה שֶׁהִשְׁמַעְתִּי לָכֶם בְּשׂוֹרָה אֲשֶׁר גַּם קִבַּלְתֶּם אוֹתָהּ וְגַם עוֹמְדִים אַתֶּם בָּהּ׃ בְּאֶמְצָעוּתָהּ אַתֶּם גַּם נוֹשָׁעִים אִם מַחֲזִיקִים אַתֶּם בַּדָּבָר שֶׁבִּשַֹרְתִּי לָכֶם שֶׁאִם לֹא כֵן לַשָּׁוְא הָיְתָה אֱמוּנַתְכֶם׃ מָסַרְתִּי לָכֶם בָּרֹאשׁ וּבָרִאשׁוֹנָה מַה שֶּׁגַּם קִבַּלְתִּי שֶׁהַמָּשִׁיחַ מֵת בְּעַד חֲטָאֵינוּ לְפִי הַכְּתוּבִים׃ נִקְבַּר וְקָם לִתְחִיָּה בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי לְפִי הַכְּתוּבִים׃ וְנִרְאָה אֶל כֵּיפָא וְאַחַר כָּךְ אֶל הַשְּׁנֵים־עָשָׂר׃ אַחֲרֵי כֵן נִרְאָה בְּבַת אַחַת אֶל יוֹתֵר מֵחֲמֵשׁ מֵאוֹת אַחִים אֲשֶׁר רֻבָּם עוֹדָם בַּחַיִּים וּמִקְצָתָם מֵתִים׃ אַחַר כָּךְ נִרְאָה אֶל יַעֲקֹב וּלְאַחַר מִכֵּן אֶל כָּל הַשְּׁלִיחִים׃ אַחֲרֵי כֻּלָּם נִרְאָה גַּם אֵלַי אֲנִי הָאַחֲרוֹן אֲשֶׁר כְּנֵפֶל אֲנִי׃
Now I make known to you, brethren the besorah (good news message) which I preached to you.
“Now I make known to you, brethren the besorah (הַבְּשׂוֹרָה-the good news) which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Mashiach (מָּשִׁיחַ) died for our sins according to the Scriptures (הַכְּתוּבִים-Ketuvim) and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures (הַכְּתוּבִים), and that He appeared to Keifa (כֵּיפָא), then to the Twelve (הַשְּׁנֵים־עָשָׂר-sheneym-asar). After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; then He appeared to Ya’akov then to all the Sent Ones (הַשְּׁלִיחִים-ha-shlichim, the apostles); and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.”

Forty Days
תֵּיאוֹפִילוֹס בַּחִבּוּר הָרִאשׁוֹן כָּתַבְתִּי עַל כָּל מַה שֶּׁיֵּשׁוּעַ עָשָׂה וְלִמֵּד מִתְּחִלָּה׃ וְעַד יוֹם הִלָּקְחוֹ לַמָּרוֹם לְאַחַר שֶׁמָּסַר הוֹרָאוֹת לְפִי רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ לַשְּׁלִיחִים אֲשֶׁר בָּחַר בָּהֶם׃ לִפְנֵיהֶם הוּא הוֹפִיעַ חַי בְּהוֹכָחוֹת רַבּוֹת אַחֲרֵי עֱנוּתוֹ וּבְמֶשֶׁךְ אַרְבָּעִים יוֹם נִרְאָה אֲלֵיהֶם וְדִבֵּר אִתָּם עַל מַלְכוּת הָאֱלֹהִים׃ כַּאֲשֶׁר הָיָה בְּחֶבְרָתָם צִוָּה עֲלֵיהֶם׃ אַל תַּעַזְבוּ אֶת יְרוּשָׁלַיִם כִּי אִם חַכּוּ לְקִיּוּם הַבְטָחַת הָאָב אֲשֶׁר שְׁמַעְתֶּם אוֹתָהּ מִפִּי׃ כִּי יוֹחָנָן הִטְבִּיל בְּמַיִם אֲבָל אַתֶּם תִּטָּבְלוּ בְּרוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ בְּעוֹד יָמִים לֹא רַבִּים׃
The first account I composed, Tiopilos (Theophilus), about all that Yeshua began to do and teach, until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the Sent Ones (שְּׁלִיחִים-shlichim) whom He had chosen. To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of Adonai (HaElohim). Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; for Yochanan baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

שָׁאֲלוּ אוֹתוֹ הַנֶּאֱסָפִים אֲדוֹנֵנוּ הַאִם בַּזְּמַן הַזֶּה תָּשִׁיב אֶת הַמַּלְכוּת לְיִשְׂרָאֵל׃ עָנָה לָהֶםלֹא לָכֶם לָדַעַת עִתִּים וּזְמַנִּים שֶׁקָּבַע הָאָב בְּסַמְכוּתוֹ שֶׁלּוֹ׃ אֲבָל בְּבוֹא עֲלֵיכֶם רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ תְּקַבְּלוּ כֹּחַ וְתִהְיוּ עֵדַי הֵן בִּירוּשָׁלַיִם וְהֵן בְּכָל יְהוּדָה וְשׁוֹמְרוֹן עַד קְצֵה הָאָרֶץ׃
So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying:
“Master is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Yerushalayim, and in all Yudah and Shomeron and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
The Ascension:
אַחֲרֵי שֶׁאָמַר אֶת הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה נִשָֹא מֵעֲלֵיהֶם בְּעוֹדָם מִסְתַּכְּלִים, וְעָנָן נָטַל אוֹתוֹ מִנֶּגֶד עֵינֵיהֶם׃ עוֹדָם מַבִּיטִים הַשָּׁמַיְמָה בַּעֲלִיָּתוֹ וְהִנֵּה שְׁנֵי אֲנָשִׁים לְבוּשֵׁי לָבָן נִצְּבוּ לְיָדָם׃וְאָמְרוּ: אַנְשֵׁי הַגָּלִיל לָמָּה אַתֶּם עוֹמְדִים וּמִסְתַּכְּלִים אֶל הַשָּׁמַיִם יֵשׁוּעַ זֶה אֲשֶׁר נִשָֹא מֵעֲלֵיכֶם הַשָּׁמַיְמָה בּוֹא יָבוֹא בְּאוֹתוֹ אֹפֶן שֶׁרְאִיתֶם אוֹתוֹ עוֹלֶה לַשָּׁמַיִם׃ אַחֲרֵי כֵן שָׁבוּ לִירוּשָׁלַיִם מֵהַר הַזֵּיתִים הַקָּרוֹב לִירוּשָׁלַיִם כְּדֶרֶךְ תְּחוּם שַׁבָּת׃
And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, “Men of the Galil, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Yeshua, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.” Then they returned to Yerushalayim from the mount called Har HaZeitim (הַר הַזֵּיתִים-the Mount of Olives), which is near Yerushalayim, a Shabbat day’s journey away.
