Markos 8:22-26
וַיָּבֹא אֶל־בֵּית צָיְדָה וַיָּבִיאוּ אֵלָיו אִישׁ עִוֵּר וַיִּתְחַנֲנוּ לוֹ לָגַעַת בּוֹ׃ וַיֹּאחֶז בְּיַד הָעִוֵּר וַיּוֹלִיכֵהוּ אֶל־מִחוּץ לַכְּפָר וַיָּרָק בְּעֵינָיו וַיָּשֶׂם יָדָיו עָלָיו וַיִּשְׁאָלֵהוּ וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו הֲרֹאֶה אָתָּה׃ וַיַּבֵּט וַיֹּאמֶר אֶרְאֶה אֶת־בְּנֵי הָאָדָם כִּי מִתְהַלְּכִים כְּאִילָנוֹת אֲנִי רֹאֶה׃ וַיּוֹסֶף וַיָּשֶׂם שֵׁנִית יָדָיו עַל־עֵינָיו וַתִּפָּקַחְנָה עֵינָיו וַיֵּרָפֵא וַיַּרְא הַכֹּל הֵיטֵב עַד־לְמֵרָחוֹק׃ וַיְשַׁלְּחֵהוּ אֶל־בֵּיתוֹ וַיֹּאמַר אַל־תָּבֹא אֶל־תּוֹךְ הַכְּפָר׃
כַּאֲשֶׁר בָּאוּ לְבֵית צַיְדָא הֵבִיאוּ אֵלָיו עִוֵּר וּבִקְשׁוּ מִמֶּנּוּ לִנְגֹּעַ בָּעִוֵּר. הֶחֱזִיק יֵשׁוּעַ אֶת הָעִוֵּר וְהוֹלִיכוֹ אֶל מִחוּץ לַכְּפָר. הוּא יָרַק בְּעֵינָיו וְשָׂם יָדָיו עָלָיו. שָׁאַל אוֹתוֹ: “הַאִם אַתָּה רוֹאֶה מַשֶּׁהוּ?” הִבִּיט וְאָמַר: “אֲנִי רוֹאֶה אֲנָשִׁים; כְּמוֹ עֵצִים אֲנִי רוֹאֶה אוֹתָם מִתְהַלְּכִים.” שָׂם אֶת יָדָיו עַל עֵינָיו שֵׁנִית וְהָאִישׁ רָאָה הֵיטֵב; הוּא נִרְפָּא וְרָאָה אֶת הַכֹּל בְּאֹפֶן בָּרוּר. שָׁלַח אוֹתוֹ יֵשׁוּעַ לְבֵיתוֹ בְּאָמְרוֹ: “אַל תִּכָּנֵס לַכְּפָר.” פ
They arrived at Beit-Tzaidah (Bethsaida), and they (the people) brought to him a blind man and begged him to touch him. He grasped the hand of the blind man and led him outside the village; he spit in his eyes, placed his hands on him, and asked him and said to him, “Do you see?” He looked intently and said, “I see the sons of men—that they are walking. I see them like trees.” He placed his hands on his eyes a second time; his eyes were opened and he was healed, and he saw everything perfectly clear, even at a distance. He sent him to his home and said to him, “Do not go into the village.”
