Mashal of the Assembly in Thyatira:

משל של הקהלת בתיאטירה

אל מלאך קהלת תיאטירה כתב: את אלה הדברים אומר בן-האלוהים אשר עיניו כשלהבת אש ורגליו כמו נחשת נוצצת:  פ

To the Messenger of the Thyatira community write: These words are said by ben HaElohim (בן-האלוהים), whose eyes are like a flame of fire (כשלהבת אש) and feet brilliant, shining (נוצצת) like polished copper (נחשת):

אני יודע את מעשיך ואת אהבתך, את אמונתך, את שרותך וסבלנותך; ומעשיך האחרונים רבים מן הראשונים. אך יש לי טענה נגדך, כי אתה מניח לאשה איזבל הקוראת לעצמה נביאה ומלמדת ומדיחה את עבדי לזנות ולאכל זבחי אלילים. נתתי לה זמן לחזר בתשובה והיא אינה רוצה לשוב מתזנותה. הנני משליך אותה למטה, ואת המנאפים עמה אשליך לצרה גדולה אם לא ישובו ממעשיהם. אהרג במות את בניה וידעו כל הקהלות שאני הוא החוקר כליות ולב, ואתן לכם איש איש כמעשיכם. אבל אומר אני לכם, לשאר הנמצאים בתיאטירה, כל אשר אין להם התורה הזאת ואשר לא ידעו את עמקות השטן, כמו שנוהגים לומר – לא אטיל עליכם משא אחר. ברם החזיקו במה שיש לכם עד אשר אבוא.  פ

I know your deeds and your love, your faith, your service and your patience; and your last deeds are more than the first. But I have a claim against you, because you let the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, teach and lead astray My servants to prostitute themselves and to eat the sacrifices of idols. I gave her time to repent and she was not willing to return from her idolatry (תזנות, תזנותה). See, I will throw her down into a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her (המנאפים) into a Great Tribulation (צרה גדולה), if they do not repent (ישובו-turn back) from their practices. I will kill her sons, and all the assemblies will know that I am He who examines the minds (כליות) and hearts (לב), and I will give to each of you according to your actions. However, I say to you, the rest of you in Thyatira, all who do not hold to this teaching and who have not experienced (ידעו-known) the “deep things” (עמקות) of the Adversary (השטן-Satan), so they like to call it—-I will not impose any other burden on you.  Just hold on to what you have until I come.

המנצח ושומר את מעשי עד קץ, אני אתן לו סמכות על הגוים וירעה אותם בשבט ברזל, ככלי חרס ינפצו, כשם שגם אני קבלתי סמכות מאת אבי. ואתן לו את כוכב השחר. מי שאזן לו, ישמע נא מה שהרוח אומרת לקהלות.  פ

The victor who keeps (ושומר) My works until the end, I will give him authority over the nations (סמכות על הגוים). And he will rule them with a Rod of Iron (שבט ברזל), they shall break to pieces like clay vessels, just as I too received authority from My Father. And I will give to him the Morning Star (כוכב השחר). Whoever listens (מי שאזן לו-has an ear to hear) will hear, understand, and obey (שמע-shama) what the Spirit says to the assemblies.
