מיד האיץ בתלמידיו להכנס לסירה ולהקדים אותו בנסיעה אל עבר הים עד שהוא ישלח את המון העם. הוא שלח את העם ועלה להר לבדו כדי להתפלל. לעת ערב היה שם לבדו. בינתים הגיעה הסירה למרחק כמה מילין מן החוף כשהיא מטלטלת על הגלים והרוח נושבת נגדה. והנה באשמרת הלילה הרביעית בא אליהם ישוע והוא מהלך על פני הים. כשראוהו התלמידים מהלך על פני הים נבהלו. אמרו: רוח רפאים היא, והחלו לצעק מפחד. מיד דבר אליהם ישוע ואמר: חזקו, אני הוא. אל תפחדו. השיב כיפא ואמר אליו: אדוני, אם אתה הוא, צוני לבוא אליך על פני המים. אמר ישוע: בוא! כיפא ירד מן הסירה והלך על פני המים לקראת ישוע. אולם כשראה את הרוח הסוערת פחד והחל לשקע. הוא צעק: אדוני, הצל אותי! מיד הושיט ישוע את ידו, החזיק בו ואמר לו: קטן אמונה, מדוע עלה ספק בלבך? בעלותם לסירה פסקה הרוח, והאנשים שהיו בסירה השתחוו לו באמרם: באמת בן-האלוהים אתה. פ
Then Yeshua urged his talmadin to go down into the boat to cross ahead of (precede) him to the other side of the sea, until he had sent away the people. He sent his people (Israel) away and went up the mountain alone to pray. It was evening, and he was there alone. Now the boat had come halfway across the sea (a few miles from shore), and the waves were tearing it apart, for there was a wind against it. During the fourth watch, Yeshua came to them, walking on the surface of the water. His talmidin saw him walking on the surface of the sea and were terrified. They said, “It is the appearance of a spirit!” and they cried out in fright. Yeshua immediately called to them, “Be strong, for it is I. Do not fear!” Keifa (Petros) answered and said to him, “If it is you, Master, please command and I will come to you on the water.” He said, “Come!” and Keifa went down from the boat and walked on the surface of the water to come to Yeshua. When he saw that the wind was strong, he became afraid and began to sink, and he cried out and said, “Master save me!” Yeshua immediately reached out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, “Small one in faith, why is your heart divided?” They went up into the boat, and the wind stopped. Then the men in the boat approached and bowed down to him and said, “Surely you are *ben Ha-Elohim!”
*These Yehudim (Jews) who were trained to be shlichim (emissaries) of Rabbeinu Yeshua worshiped the Spirit of God who Indwells the Messiah. They did not worship Yeshua the man. For as Jews they knew that Yeshua (Jesus) was a man. He was not God. Nevertheless, the Messiah Yeshua is a very special man. He is a man of a different kind. In all his life he never sinned. Not even once. Also, like father Adam was in Gan Eden the Messiah is ben Ha-Elohim (a son of God). However, unlike the first Adam and ourselves the Messiah (the last Adam) has never sinned. The Messiah ben haElohim ben ha’adam has always been Indwelt with a full measure of the Spirit of God. Therefore to be in the physical presence of the Messiah the man is to be, at the same time, in the very Presence of the Indwelling Spirit of the Holy One. מיד אחרי כן האיץ בתלמידיו להכנס לסירה ולהפליג אל הצד השני, לבית צידא, בעוד שהוא ישלח את ההמון. אחרי שנפרד מהם עלה להר להתפלל. לעת ערב היתה הסירה באמצע הים והוא לבדו על היבשה. ראה אותם מתיגעים בחתירה, כי הרוח נשבה נגדם, ובא אליהם בערך באשמרת הרביעית של הלילה כשהוא הולך על פני הים וכונתו לעבר לידם. כשראוהו הולך על פני הים חשבו שהוא רוח רפאים והחלו לצעק, כי כלם ראו אותו ונבהלו, אך הוא דבר אתם מיד ואמר להם: חזקו, זה אני. אל תפחדו! הוא בא אליהם לתוך הסירה והרוח פסקה. הם השתוממו עד מאד, כי לא למדו דבר מענין ככרות הלחם בגלל קהות לבבם. פ
Afterward, he urged his [Twelve] talmidin to go down into the boat and to cross ahead of him to the other side of the sea, to Beit-Tzaidah, while he sent away the people. After he had sent them away (separated from them), he went up the mountain to pray. It was evening, and the boat had come to the middle of the sea, and he was alone on the land. He saw them wearing themselves out by rowing, because the wind was against them. Around the fourth watch, he came to them, walking on the surface of the water, and intended to pass by them. They saw him walking on the surface of the water and said, “It is the appearance of a spirit!” and they cried out because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke with them and said to them, “Be strong, for it is I. Do not fear!” He went down to them in the boat, and the wind ceased. [At this] Their hearts were astonished even more, and they were amazed (overwhelmed with wonder and apprehension). For [in addition to this sign and miracle] they still did not comprehend the [previous] matter of the (sign and miracle of the) loaves of bread, because of their hardness of heart.
Yochanan 6:15-21

כְּשֶׁהִבְחִין יֵשׁוּעַ שֶׁהֵם עוֹמְדִים לָבוֹא וְלִתְפֹּס אוֹתוֹ כְּדֵי לְהַמְלִיכוֹ, יָצָא שׁוּב אֶל הָהָר הוּא לְבַדּוֹ. לְעֵת עֶרֶב יָרְדוּ תַּלְמִידָיו אֶל הַיָּם וְנִכְנְסוּ לְסִירָה כְּדֵי לַעֲבֹר אֶת הַיָּם אֶל כְּפַר נַחוּם. הַחֹשֶׁךְ כְּבָר יָרַד וְיֵשׁוּעַ עוֹד לֹא בָּא אֲלֵיהֶם. אוֹתָהּ שָׁעָה נָשְׁבָה רוּחַ חֲזָקָה וְהַיָּם הֵחֵל לִסְעֹר. לְאַחַר שֶׁחָתְרוּ כַּחֲמִשָּׁה קִילוֹמֶטְרִים, רָאוּ אֶת יֵשׁוּעַ הוֹלֵךְ עַל הַיָּם וּמִתְקָרֵב אֶל הַסִּירָה. פַּחַד נָפַל עֲלֵיהֶם, אַךְ הוּא אָמַר לָהֶם: אֲנִי הוּא, אַל תִּפְחֲדוּ. אָז חָפְצוּ לְקַבֵּל אוֹתוֹ לַסִּירָה וּלְפֶתַע הָיְתָה הַסִּירָה בַּחוֹף אֲשֶׁר הִפְלִיגוּ אֵלָיו. פ
כשהבחין ישוע שהם עומדים לבוא ולתפס אותו כדי להמליכו, יצא שוב אל ההר הוא לבדו. לעת ערב ירדו תלמידיו אל הים ונכנסו לסירה כדי לעבר את הים אל כפר נחום. החשך כבר ירד וישוע עוד לא בא אליהם. אותה שעה נשבה רוח חזקה והים החל לסער. לאחר שחתרו כחמשה קילומטרים, ראו את ישוע הולך על הים ומתקרב אל הסירה. פחד נפל עליהם, אך הוא אמר להם: אני הוא, אל תפחדו. אז חפצו לקבל אותו לסירה ולפתע היתה הסירה בחוף אשר הפליגו אליו. פ
Yeshua knew that they [the great multitude of Yehudim who had witnessed firsthand his signs and miracles] would come and capture him to make him king (forcibly crown him Melekh Yisrael), so he escaped once more to the mountain alone. In the evening his talmidin went down to the sea, entered a boat, and crossed to the other side of the sea to Kefar Nachum. The darkness covered them, and Yeshua had not come to them. At that time a great wind had stirred up the sea and there was a violent storm. They had rowed with their oars about twenty-five or thirty rees (about five kilometers; 3-4 miles) when they saw Yeshua walking on the sea, coming nearer and nearer to the boat. They were afraid. He said to them, “It is I! Do not fear.” They started to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat arrived *at the land in which they were going.
*This means: The Messiah Yeshua, his talmidin and the boat were instantly (ולפתע-in an instant) transported from the middle of the Sea of Galilee (Kinnert) to the shore of Kefar Nachum! (Capernaum)
Opening-up questions and clues:
The following opening-up questions and clues are provided as an introduction to this study on the 24th and 25th Miracles of Messiah:
1. What just happened to the prophet Yochanan ben Zekaryah? Who killed him and how was he executed?
2. Go back and study the 23rd miracle of the 5,000 men and 5,000 women and children who were fed at Beit-Tzaidah.
3. What was Yochanan ben Zekaryah’s relationship to Eliyahu Hanavi (Elijah the prophet) and the Messiah Yeshua?

The Fifth Sign – Yeshua & Keifa walk on the waters of the Sea of Galilee in a Storm:
Now when evening came, his disciples went down to the sea, and after getting into a boat, they started to cross the sea to Kefar Nachum. It had already become dark, and Yeshua had not yet come to them. The sea began to be stirred up because a strong wind was blowing. Then, when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Yeshua walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were frightened. But he said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” So they were willing to receive him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the shore of Kefar Nachum to which they were going.
After the Messiah walked on the waters of the Sea of Galilee in the midst of a raging storm, he helped one of his disciples (Shim’on Keifa) to also walk on water. However, due to his fear Keifa whose name means “Stone” began to sink into the sea like a “stone” After the Messiah rescued Keifa and safely returned him to his boat, located in the middle of the Sea of Galilee, he (יְשַׁלֵּחַ-Yeshua: the Salvation of Adonai) calmed the raging storm, and then “instantly” transported the boat, himself, and his talmidin to the shore of Kefar Nachum. It is this latter miracle of instantly transporting the boat and his (Twelve) disciples from the middle of the Sea of Galilee to the shore of Kefar Nachum that is the eleventh of the twelve recorded miracles of Kefar Nachum.
The next day the crowd that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other small boat there, except one, and that Yeshua had not entered with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples had gone away alone. There came other small boats from the village of Beit-Tzaida near to the place where they *ate the bread after the Messiah Yeshua had given thanks. So when the crowd saw that Yeshua was not there, nor His disciples, they themselves got into the small boats, and came to Kefar Nachum seeking Yeshua. When they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” [*cf. Sign #4, Miracle #23. “Fed 5,000 men and their families.”]
The Storm came just as the Sun went down:
After the feeding of the 5,000 men (and approximately 5,000 women and children) the Master compelled his disciples to go down the mountain to the lake, get into the boat, and transit by sea from Beit-Tzaida (Bethsaida) to the Messiah’s home in Kefar Nachum. [Both villages are at the north end of the Sea of Galilee.] Just as the disciples got underway in the boat the sun went down and the wind picked up.
“The sea began to be stirred up and the strong wind suddenly became a life-threatening storm.”
The west wind, which often picks up at evening on the Sea of Galilee, caught the disciples in the open water. They were headed directly into it and found themselves making little progress. They were straining at the oars. While the Messiah remained up in the hills praying, He was fully aware of what was happening to his disciples on the lake.
The Sea of Galilee is notable for its sudden and severe storms.
When the disciples had rowed about three or four miles they were left exhausted and stranded in the middle of the lake. Then suddenly they were terrified to see a figure walking on the water. At first they thought the figure was a ghost (a spirit). Then they saw that the figure was the Messiah Yeshua walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were frightened.
This miracle of the Messiah walking on the water of the Sea of Galilee occurred in the fourth watch of the night, that is between 3 and 6 o’clock in the morning. Just as the Messiah came to the boat He said to them:
“It is I. Do not be afraid!”
So the men were willing to receive him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.
“It is I. Do not be afraid!”
The clause ‘It is I’ is literally “I am” (אני) “he” (הוא), and it was used by the Indwelling Presence of the Spirit of God dwelling within the Messiah with a strong spiritual intent. In this setting Adonai – our Father and our God – was speaking through the Messiah His Son. This means:
The fullness of God (EL-Beit-El) dwells bodily in him.
Yeshua our Messiah was the one and only perfect man (Beit-El). A man of a different kind. All of the Deity of God dwelt bodily in the Messiah Yeshua because he has never thought, felt, decided or behaved differently than God the Father has desired of him. The unity of the Father and the Son has never been broken. Yeshua has fulfilled all of the Torah of God. He is the Mystery of God who only does the will of God throughout all eternity. Therefore God the Father says of him:
“This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Hear, understand, and obey him!”
When the disciples recognized the Messiah Yeshua they welcomed him into the boat. By the words “immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going” another twenty-fifth miracle is disclosed. The truths of these two miracles are expounded further in the witness of the next corporate miracle, the “Healing of many in Gennesaret.” The Messiah is *Israel’s deliverer who intercedes for, nurtures, and protects his own. He is our Good Shepherd who intervenes in our times of trouble and brings us to safety.
*From the sea (the world) to the beach (Israel).
The next day, the morning and afternoon following the Storm, the dismissed crowd that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other small boat there at Beit-Tzaida except one and that Yeshua had not entered with his disciples into the boat but that his disciples had gone away alone. There came other small boats from near to the place where they ate the bread after the Messiah had given thanks.
So early in the morning when the crowd saw that Yeshua was not there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the small boats and came to his hometown Kefar Nachum seeking Rabbi Yeshua. When they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, ‘Rabbi, when did you get here?’”
Fifth Corporate Miracle: Messiah instantly teleports boat to Kefar Nachum:
Today’s *corporate miracle of “Yeshua & Keifa walk on water/Boat teleported from sea to shore,” begins at the Sea of Galilee and ends at Kefar Nachum (כפר נחום). This is the fifth corporate miracle of twelve corporate miracle events that occur in the testimony and witness of the Seven Signs and Fifty Miracles of Messiah.
*There are Twelve recorded corporate miracles of the Messiah (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12). The number Twelve is a symbol of the “governance” of the nation of Israel and its people. Among these Twelve corporate miracles of Yeshua there are two very unique small group miracles: where one, he delivered Twelve of his disciples from a fierce storm by walking on the waters of the Sea of Galilee to their boat, getting in, calming the storm, and then instantly transporting the Twelve and their boat to the shore of Kefar Nachum (today’s miracle); and two, when Yeshua healed a group of Ten lepers. These Twelve corporate miracles of deliverance and healing are a witness to the Messiah’s ministry to all of the House of Israel. Like the Messiah (Individual-Servant) our people of Israel (National Servant) are uniquely called (destined) by the LORD our God to serve Him and all the nations, peoples and families of the world as a special corporate body (nation) of Servant-leaders. (1, 2, 3)
This was the Eleventh Miracle that occurred at Kefar Nachum:
This is the Eleventh of Twelve recorded miracles that occur at the Messiah’s hometown of Kefar Nachum (כפר נחום); the Village of [God’s] Comfort, Consolation, and the giving of [His] Rest (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12). As stated above this Eleventh Miracle of Kefar Nachum is unique from the other eleven miracles because it involves the Messiah instantaneously transporting his Twelve disciples and their boat from the middle of the Sea of Galilee to the shore of Kefar Nachum (Capernaum).
“Rabbi, when did you get here (ahead of us) at Kefar Nachum?”
In the morning, while the Messiah and His disciples were in Kefar Nachum, the crowd of thousands of Yehudim who had been fed were still on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee. They saw the Messiah did not get into the boat which was there. But since he did not get into the boat, the crowd supposed that he had stayed in the area.
After some time in the morning had elapsed the crowd realized that the Messiah was no longer there. Some boats from the village of Tiberias had landed, so the people decided to use those fishing and merchant boats to seek the Messiah in the northern region of the Sea of Galilee.
When the people searching for Yeshua found him, they asked him, “Rabbi when did you get here?” This question introduces the Messiah’s next long discourse in Kefar Nachum (go back to Part 12 of the last miracle). However, the Salvation of Adonai (Yeshua) never did explain how or when he crossed the lake, for his walking on the water was a private sign (miracle) for only his closest (Twelve) disciples to know.
